More weapons, slightly less conventional.
The top gun was the tea-dispensing British-toothed robot Q’s machine pistol, and the one underneath is the enemy guard/ captain machine pistol.
The boxing glove was another highly weird weapon… as you armed it your right arm (with the glove) would begin pinwheeling while your left armed pointed at an enemy, beckoning. When activated, the beckoned enemy would come flying at the player, who would punch it explosively at another object.
The coin features a gold version of the Planet Moon Studios vortex logo. Its other side had an embossed portrait of Rembrandt (inside joke ;)
The cardboard box is the “World’s Smallest Black Hole”, a bomb of sorts. Rather than make some TOTALLY WICKED AWESOME TESLA-ESQUE HI-TECH looking thing, I decided to make it look like a crappy, greasy, unassuming cardboard box. When tossed, the top flaps would flip open and a teeny black hole, about the size of a golf-ball, would pop up out of it, creating a terrific vortex that sucked all nearby enemies in.
There’s a bunch of marketing clips on the weapons assembled into a (dated looking) movie on Youtube so you can see some of these in action. I wish they had been closer to the black hole bomb and looking up as it launched… when you’re up close it’s quite epic.
